Description: |
Hotel Wildner Venice, Italy.
The Pensione Wildner Hotel is one of the few inexpensive hotels
(by Venice standards!) situated along the Grand Canal byb Piazza
San Marco and from where you can enjoy the wonderful view of St.
Mark's Basin. Henry James stayed here in 1881 while working on
the draft of his "Portrait of a Lady". Its rooms are spread over
four floors and are both intimate and bright, and offering a
warm, friendly atmosphere. From the Hotel's veranda, you can
enjoy a splendid view over the lagoon. Guests can take their
breakfast on the verands and can choose from a rich buffet of
Italian specialities - with a touch of Venice. The Hotel staff
is always available for whatever you needs you may have and to
listen to your suggestions: they can confirm a flight for you,
recommend a typical restaurant etc. The
Hotel Wildner also stands out because of its typical
restaurant where hotel residents can choose dishes which appear
on the varied seasonal menu - and at a 15% discount. A part of
the Venezia Hotels group, the Pensione Wildner has
furnished its rooms simply and elegantly, while maintaining
their modern functionality and comfort. Rooms have parquet
flooring throughout and all come with private bathrooms. Some
rooms offer a superb view over the Venetian lagoon, the island
of San Giorgio, the Chiesa della Salute, whilst others offer
views over the Church of San Zaccaria, the roofs and bell-towers
of the city. Guests enjoy exceptional comfort, as well as
amenities such as telephones, satellite television, and
air-conditioning.
